Transfer Again to Lincoln, NE

Today I received an email about spouse and my case were transferred to Lincoln, NE.

(On January 8, 2008, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to our LINCOLN, NE location for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action)

Originally applied at Vermont (Labor from Delaware), March 2007 been transferred to Texas now NSC. wht the heck is going on?

LUD details: 140 - 11/17/2007
485 (both) - 12/06/2007, 01/08/2008 (today)

What would be the reason?

This message is normal shifting of workload. Lots of folks are getting it.
 
That's strange!

Is this why there are LUDs on approved 140s?

I suspect something is cooking, either those cases have every thing completed except for PD being current, or NC completed and background checks pending so transffered to local for work load sharing or who knows USCIS likes to send applications from here to there and vice versa, in the transit cases can get lost if we do not keep an eye on it.

USCIS SUCKS!

apol, I think they are transferring to balance work load based on the jurisdiction of the service center. In which State are you in or the State name in the address given to USCIS ?

Local means, should have been transferred to Dallas local Office not Lincoln, NE right? is it not service center to service center transfer?

I have a pending EAD with TSC right now (completed biometrics on 4th jan 08)..would they transfer that case too? over all this process is going forever... VSC to TSC to NSC.. wtf going on...
