Does anyone know if the US or Canadian border keeps records and track when people enter either the US or Canada at the borders. Like if they dont scan anything and just look at your ID how to they track it. And also are all nexus crosses tracked? Does anyone know about this for canadians entering the US, and then back to canada? And say a canadian entered the US, stayed there for a year and just travelled all over by car and did not work or anything, when crossing back into canada would they be in trouble or anything?

Im kinda curious about this too, upon my return to Canada after my 6 month visit to US, the guy never stamped my Passport, how do they know I came back???

I am wondering the same. how do they track the in and out. Entry into canda took like one minute. Just the passport and conirmation of landing shown.
