Tracking PreAdjudication Retro Cases

NSC is doing PreAdjudication ... that might be a good news.. Already PreAdjudication --- and waiting for visa number can remove a little build in anxiety.


Well some guys are getting RFE past the current PD's ... I guess we can keep track on RFE and roughly know what dates USCIS is preProcessing.

The latest I got was:
EB3 : March 24, 2003 [PD]


{ Pl do post if you know later dates}

Question : Can one be sure all guys without RFEs, who had PD earlier than March 01, 2003 in EB3 are already PreAdjudicated ?
 
Where you saw - Retro PD March 24, 2003 approval?

will you pl mention URL where you saw - Retro PD March 24, 2003 approval? Is it China, India ...?

No -- that was not an approval --- It was an RFE. The guy in Retro with the PD on March 24, 2003 got an RFE ... Well it might be an indicator of PreAdjucation without visa numbers.
 
The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) announced on April 12, 2006 that it will conduct routine processing of I-485 (Adjustment of Status) cases, even in cases for which the visa numbers are not available. This is known as "preadjudication." This program does not mean that cases without current visa numbers will be approved. The rules remain unchanged with respect to the need for an available visa number in order to file or obtain the approval of an I-485. This is a continuation of backlog reduction efforts on the part of the NSC. They are simply reviewing and doing as much as possible to process the cases that were filed prior to retrogression, so that they will be ready once the visa numbers are available.

So they are started 'preadjudication' April 12, 2006.. Again we are in hot zone .. without even being current in PD .. wait everyday for RFE... Hope that never comes....

From the posts I could find that the latest RFE is in the region of early 2003 [PD]. some guys from PD 2002 got RFE too ...

same here PD/June 2002 NSC EB3 INDIA , i also didnot get any rfe ... Have not changed my employer ,just address change in the same city .FP code 1 done in feb 2006 .

How do we know whether they checked our file ,since our LUD doesnot change as yet , isn't it that once they touch our file LUD should changed.

Does it mean that they have not touched our file ?? I'm confused .

I called today morning at Nebraska service center they guys are totaly unqualified looks like no clear answer I said Why we r not getting any RFE though we are also from Retrogrssed country though not necesary RFE but at least LUD no lud since second FP.why so late she said as case is pending Security Clearance/Visa Availability.I asked her I got 3 time reply from Local senator,NSC also that case is pending for Visa Availability & Name check is Cleared for me & My wife she said yeah when ever Visa available or PD current case will be forwared to adjudication officer then they will see you need FP or any security clearance till then no updation rest I can't get on my systems .What is this ?????????????????

Why do expect to get RFEs? RFEs are only sent when something is missing from the file.

That's true ..but how do one know whether his or her case is touched or not .Normally if they touch your file there is a change in LUD , from that people know that the file is touched.

In chanderjoshi and my case , we have neither received any RFE nor LUD has changed. no rfe probably because we didnt change our employer ... but the Q is how do we know whether they touched our file .

You'll never know for sure, sometimes there would be a LUD change, but not always.

What was the RFE about ?

Did the RFE come to you or Ur attorney?

Did you have any of those LUD before you got the RFE?


{ It looks like .. in preAdjucation cases one does not get LUD change unless there is an RFE}

The service center call centers have very limited data access.. Do not blame them.... If you have an attorney .. its better to put the query to him/her as they can get a direct line to the inside...
 
Got RFE.

On May 22, 2006 I did the Biometrics Code 1 .. and Bingo I got RFE on May 27,2006.

Wonder what it might ... hope so it might be a easy one..

Question : Where does the RFE go ... Attorney or to me ... or both.

In my case, attorney got the RFE. I don't think there is no link between BIO code 1 to RFE. I got Bio Code 1 on May 18th and recvd RFE on 11th.
