Tracking for July RD/ND

I hope your attorney will get it anytime. In my case RFEs was sent on 16th June, but lawyer informed me on 25th June. But in case your attorney does not receive within 14 days, then don't forget to inform INS.

RFE for Emp Letter and for Spouse further evidence for marriage.

Hi All,

My Attorney received RFE notices for me and my wife.I checked USCIS web site and it was issued RFE on Aug 5th for both cases.
Details:
RFE for me: Emp Letter.
RFE for my wife: Further Evidance marriage.( We already submitted Marriage Certificate. It seems USCIS needs more info.).

RD: July 27th 2002
ND: Aug 1st 2002
3 EAD's
2 Ap's
1st FP: Sep 21st 2002.
2nd FP: June 12th 2004.

RFE Issued: Aug 5th 2004

My attorney asked me to get Bank statements, Utility Bills, PIctures together, Tax returns for my wife's RFE. And he is getting emp letter from my employer for my RFE( I am with same company from day one).

I am happy to see my case touched. :)
Hope to see approval soon.. :confused:

Similar Case

I just did my 2FP last week.

I doubt that my case will be transferred to Local. Anyone knows under what circumstances INS transfers cases to local office?

Finally my 485 case has been approved today !!

It has been a nightmare throughout which I'll never forget for the rest of my life. Employer took full advantage of my hopeless situation knowing I couldn't change employers till last stage of GC knowing it would be at least a 4 year ordeal. Switched employer after 180 days of 485 was filed. It took total of 4 years from labor filing to GC approval.
Thanks to this forum , there was always hope and silver lining to the wait.
Never lose Hope and Detemination. There is always light at the end of tunnel.

I will be sending my RFE reply doc in a day or two to my lawyer. I am just waiting for my translated & notarized ration card. It took me almost a month to collect all the necessary documents.

I hope, other people in similar situation will prepare their documents ahead of time.

I will let you know once I submit the reply.

Stamped my Passport with GC today.

Here is my experience with GC stamping today at Newark,NJ

Received 485 approval courtesy copy on Monday , lawyer received the original copy but told that I can proceed with courtesy copy for stamping.
Approval notice mentioned to get Passport, I-94 and 2 photos.
Now photos was a big issue at the INS today. Effective today Sep 1st , they only take passport size photos for GC only. They no longer accept 3/4 front face with right ear visible photos which was mentioned in the approval notice. Nevertheless clicked both kinds of pictures and took them. They asked for passport size pictures. Surprisingly they asked for past and present EAD and parole docs (this was not mentioned in approval notice but still took them with me so it saved my day) INS officer said after stamping .."Congrats effective today you are a permanent resident, you should receive plastic cards in 6 to 8 months".
Went in at 8 am and came out by 12.45 pm.
Its a great feeling !
Its finally all over ..the anxiety, wait and patience.
Freedom is sweet ! Its a great feeling !
I thought I would post my stamping experince as this forum has helped me in many ways till date.

RFE issued on 8/31 for me, my wife and my son. Don't know yet what it is. I am assuming employment RFE for me since I changed job twice. But what it can be for my dependents? Anyway, glad to note something's happening ...
