RFE for empl letter, bio graphical info. Notice Date Jul 12 00, Primary approved on Aug 15 01, Spouse is not approved yet.

Can you post the asnwer for the folloing questins:

1. Employer letter from your spouse\'s employer or your(primary applicant\'s) employer?
2. Did you call INS recently to find out your spouse case status?

Answers to your questions

1. The RFE for the Spouse, Employment letter for the Spouse, My husband was on H1 (Before entering into the country),
Probably they have asked because he is on H1. It so happened that me and my husband\'s employer is same for the past
 5 years, so we did not have any problem of sending the employment letter. I also had the same concerns why they have
asked the employment letter for the spouse.
2. Yes. I called 3 times before we got RFE for my husband, since my case was approved on Aug 15th, we got RFE on
Oct 9th, we repplied on Oct 19th, After Oct 19th till now, we called 3 times to enquire about the status, Same old words from
them that the case is pending. Still waiting for the Good news.

My case, primary and spouse got approved on
11/26/01, we received ref for our son regarding
medicl, my guess may be INS is giving less priority
for dependent cases, thats why even after two months
your husband\'s case is still pending. I know one
my friend got RFE and reply was received by INS
on 12/18/01 and his case was approved on 12/27/01.

Any input would be appreciated.
