Tracker for June CSC Concurrent 140/485

AP and H1-B

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if I can use AP to travel while I still maintain my H1-B status after I re-enter US (I have around 3 years left on H1-B).

Jonny,

Why do you have intention to use your AP if you still have H1B valid?
As far as I know you surrending your H1B status when you start working with EAD, until this moment you can use H1B for travel.

140 Approved

My 140 is approved today.

I140- RD: 6/23/05 LUD:9/12/05,9/13/05 RFE Rcvd :9/14/05 :Responded:10/15/05 LUD:10/19/05,10/20/05, 10/21/05,10/24/05. AD:10/24/05

Guys: I need some advice on below. Have not been able to talk to my laywer but my HR rep did. Now she has no idea what he told her..went over her head. I think what she gathered is that USCIS is telling my lawyer to convert the case from EB2 to EB3. Not sure why

Here is my Q. Will they expect us to re-file or do they just convert from EB2 to EB3? We barely made the dates to file concurrently. If they ask us to re-file, me and my wife shall not be able to get benefits of EAD/AP and that would be such an unfortunate thing. I shall talk to the lawyer on Thursday where he is going to explain things to me.

Until then I am worried...will I have to re-file and loose 485 benefits? Or does USCIS simply convert EB2 to EB3?

To add salt to the wounds, just got an email from USCIS that my EAD has been approved and cards shall be mailed out soon, when ready. If my EB2 is not converted to EB3 and 485 needs to be refiled..it would be quite unfortunate..having received cards which are useless! :(

Does anyone have any info on above?

not yet, my guess it will take a bit of time to get such a notice. anyway I485 processing dates are still not current.

Thanks for the response. It seems that there are also some people from July that also didn't receive the FP notice. I wonder what is going on with our applications.

The www.immigrationwatch.com site shows that there are few June 485 applications already approved. If true, then the USCIS processing dates are not really real....

EB1, I-140 Approval

Good news. Our lawyer informed us of I-140 approval. He got it via regular email. Strangely enough, there is no update/approval email from the USCIS website. No FP notice yet.

My FP notice (code 3) was sent a day after I-140 approval. don't know if this is the routine or just a coincidence
 
Just got my I-485 approved. The green card has been sent out to me by USCIS. I should receive it these days. :) Please see my updated signature. Good luck guys! God bless us! :) :) :D :D
