TRACKER FOR Concurrent 140/485

I create the profile a week ago.
I renew my EAD/AP two weeks ago.
Ask my lawyer to make inquiry two weeks ago. No feedback.
No chance to trigger it.

Last Update Date on Portfolio

I had my Fp done on 3/13/04. I saw last update for 485 from 3/20 to 4/30 as changing one day previous to the date. It stopped at 4/30/04 till yesterday and then it changed again to 5/4/04 today.

On May 3, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.


Any idea why these dates are changing ?

I140/I485 RD 06/05/03 (EAC-03-191-xxXXX) for I140 and 485
ND 06/18/03
EAD approved 07/01/2003
FP Done 4/10/04

last update date on 485 kept changing from 04/20/2004 . Changed everyday till 04/29/2004.

Suddenly, my 140 which was not touched from July 2003 changed yesterday. the case status was updated since my lawyer had requested a duplicate of the reciept.. no approval though..

Today, both 140 and 485 have changed with yesterdays date...

cannot figure out whats happening..
 
patientgc, gc1111...If your cases , i.e. 140 and 485 get approved, it will be the model and proof of the way GC's would be handled in the future...

My details:

I140/485 RD is 05/06/03.
Finger printing done on 09/03/03.
EAD approved on 10/02/03.
I140/485 NOT approved

I would say, we guys in this thread should get 485 sooner than the rest in 2 months, or may get 140 cleared after 2 years along with a slow 485. Either way it is going to be a hell of a ride for us. Stay tight!

So probably the change has no relevance to anything.........or may be they change every day at 2:00 pm and I just happened to see it before and after the change
 
It is getting nasty. Whatever is being done should be made clearer. I am surprised none of the immigration attorneys have reported when VSC is going to start with memo or what VSC is doing with it. Every other service center has announced something or other, but VSC guys are perhaps meditating with memo in their hands. Anything - single 140 processing or concurrent one is OK - as long as they are doing something. Looks this memo has given another oppurtunity to hide in toilets!

How do you check the status? I can only see the status of the I-140 and I-485 separately.

It looks like the only theory still on the table is that they are cleaning I140 so they can focus after that on I485. My guess is that we won't see big I485 approvals in the next 1-2 months but at least we can hope for that later

Mine is a similar scenario too!! concurrently filed I140 and I485 in January 20003. Got my EAD and AP without any issues. However, no news on 140 or 485.
