my husbands I140 is not approved yet..is that the reason for my AP and EAD not being approved as yet??His hasnt been approved either.. applied on july 31...been a 6 months now:(:(

Hi All,

What is the default time period for AP ? For ex. if it is 3 months & I don't get it approved within 3 months then can go directly to INS office & ask my AP ? What should I do if I have an emergency & I have to leave the country for few days ?

Hi daj,

I have filed for renewal of my EAD on 12/29/2003 and the ND is same as yours. What category was yours? EB2/EB3?

Was wondering if that has any effect? I have not received approval yet. My current one expire on 03/25/2004 and if I do not get my second EAD approved by then, I will have to go on leave without pay till 03/29/2004 and then appear in local INS for temp. EAD card. I am trying to get inputs to find find out what is the probability of that happening?

Any opinion?

was it the 2nd EAD or the 1st one?

Has I140 already been cleared?

My 2nd EAD details are same as yours. RD 12/31 and ND 01/07/04. Mine might be taken up for processing after I140 decison.
