I stamped on Oct 31st too. The message changed to cards ordered on Nov 19th. But I am seeing people whose messages says "cards ordered on " dates prior to Oct 31st still waiting. Look for Samba\'s message!

Approved 11/9; Stamped 11/26; waiting for plastic.

Does the speed of getting the card depends on which local INS you are assigned to? Mine is Arlington and it is generally messed up and slow.
 
Approved by VSC, and passport stamped in NSC region

Does it matter if the stamping document is sent to NSC instead of VSC? Is NSC going to forward the document to VSC or all service centers share the smae info once it is in the computer system.
 
Plastic Card Received

I received my Plastic card on 12/1/2001. The message changed to
"Card ordered" on 11/6/2001. My GC was approved on 8/23/01 at
Baltimore INS.

I thank GOD, Mr.Rajiv S Khanna and his entire team. Also I thank
all the immigrationportal friends.

Congrats Sunny, my case is same as yours for AVM message.
Mine too says Cards Ordered on 11/6. Hoping to receive cards
anytime soon. Thanks for update.

Per AVM, card was ordered on 11/14/2001. Waiting to receive...
