Passport stamped: July 19th 2001
Plastic card arrival : October 31st 2001

Received Cards today

Thank God! The mail actually got forwarded from my old address. I had changed my address probably days after the message changing to "card ordered" around October 19th. The officer then said I was "just in time"! Apparently not!!

The envelope did not have any markings like "do not forward" or anything, not a word, did not even say INS. Windows made the from and to address visible.

Ballpark...2 months...

I stamped in Seattle (Bellevue) September 4th, approved 8/24. Typically I have seen about 2 months at Vermont to get cards. After the AVM message changes it takes about 10-14 days.

How to check status on plastic card...

I hear people talking about checking the status of the card.....
How do I do this...Do I call the VSC...what is the tracking number to use..Is it the one on the transfer notice.....Please help...
