I have created this thread for all those who are waiting for the green card to arrive after receiving the welcoming notice from USCIS. Please post your details here.

I got my welcoming PR email on Nov30th but no further email so far.


Details:

EB2 - India
PD - Aug-2003
Labor Approved - 04/2007
I-140 (PP) Approved - 05/2007
I-485 filed on Jun'26
RD - July 27th
EAD/AP approved in Oct
485 welcome notice on NOV-30.

Waiting for the Card now....
 
since2002, your I485 status changed to "Approved" without showing the "notice send welcoming...." or "card production ordered.." etc.

Please confirm.
 
Mine is also same as you, only welcoming message, and called TSC VO, saying I just need to wait for the card.

I got the approval email. No further emails. The card showed up in the mail the same week.
So, watch your mail, the card may come soon. If not, call the TSC using POJ technique.
 
Got the card for my wife and daughter today..
Still waiting for mine.

On Dec.6th, I got the approval notice sent email. Waiting for the card.....

Is there anything called temporary GC stamping on the passport? If so, where to get it stamped? please advise

I got the Card in hand today.
My details

EB2- India
Labour filed: March 2003
1485 (for both myself and my wife) - RD = 06/15/07
FP (for both) 08-17-07. Followed by an LUD on 08/18/07
EAD (for both) 09/26/07
AP (for both) 10/24/07
485 for myself (primary) email 11/29 - Card production ordered
email 11/30 - Welcome notice sent
email 12/04 - 485 approved.
Got the card on 12/07/07. (Seems like a lucky day).

But I am still waiting for my wife's 485. Everything else we got it together. But this one not. Is anybody else like me who got the primary approved and waiting for Wife's case? Please update me how long would it take for the spouse to get approved? Are they affected by the retrogesed date?

Nov 29 : card production ordered
Nov 30 : welcome notice
Dec 4 : case approved mail.
Dec 7 : card received.

My wife is currently working on H1-B. Does she need to inform her employer about the change in status?

My wife's case is still pending and is with an officer as per the discussion with TSC IO. Waiting with fingers crossed.

Hi Endeavour2003. It seems like I am in the same boat as you. (May be not as yours is driven by an officer at this point). Would you please update me once you get your Wife's case cleared. My wife's case is still "Received and Pending status". I didn't call the 1-800 number as I would want to give some time to see what happens. Any prediction about when you would get your wife's case cleared?

my card received on Dec. 8th, welcoming notice sent on Dec.2nd. So, one week time is normal.
 
Case approved. How long for card?

I just got two emails: One welcoming and one card ordered. How long for card now?
 
Received the Card

Hi Friends,

Received the Card, feeling a high tide of relief wash over me. Now it's time to wait for my spouse's card.
