TRACK I-140 cases filed around SEPT/2005

Hello All,

I am trying to find if there are any I-140 approvals from the cases filed on or after Sept/2005 through processing center VT.

I-140,EAD,485 - RD 09/26/05
EAD -AD-10/25/05
I-140- waiting

I had filed for my I-140 on Aug 17th with Receipt Date of Aug 22nd and still there is no activity on my case. So what you are saying about I-140 with Vermont Center does not seem to be correct. Are you sure you filed at Vermont and not some other center. Let us know your case no so that we can verify :confused:

Which category did you file in. Mine is also Aug-2005 and not yet approved.

Mine is EB-1 filed in Aug 2005 no approval no LUD Change.
You filed at VSC right.

VSC Filiing

I applied at Vermont VSC as I live in NYC. Is there any one out there who applied in EB2 category with concurrent filing in AUG and whose labor was done using Perm and filed concurrently at VSC and has got his I140 approved :D Then let us know

My 485 ND is SEP 15 2005 and my 140 hasntbeen approved yet. A division of my company where I work is sold for another huge company and as of March 1st I will be employee of the new company.
I think(hope) I can talk to HR and join new company from March 15th, which will complete 180 days.
As my 140 hasnt been approved yet, will it be a problem for AC21 portability. I am hoping that I can join March 15th, if itsnt possible what will be the consequences.
Please help/provide info.

For applying AC21 clause I-140 should be approved
When is you 140 applied.

Not true. You can apply for AC-21 before your I-140 is approved but people don't do it since it is risky if you have to leave your employer before apporval of I-140. In your case gcForV, you probably don't have to worry about the previous employer revoking your I-140 so you can go ahead and use AC-21

As an update, I applied through PERM, approved on 09/28/2005, applied concurrently on 09/30/2005, I had an LUD for I-140 on 12/01/2005 and then nothing after that. Please see my signature for more details.
 
I applied in August and company job transfer is in last week of Feb.
Waiting for approval.
As acquisition is not a "succesor in intrest", i have to file for AC21.

I was a keen observer to this thread.
I would appreciate your expert comments/observations on my Case regarding my i485 msg change:
Here is the msg change:
On February 2, 2006, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in HARTFORD, CT for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. Our office in HARTFORD, CT will notify you when they schedule your interview or take other action on your case. You do not have to trust all the information provided in this forum. But asking for someone's receipt number is unjustified, in my opinion. This is personal and confidential.
I believe VJ2004 information is correct. One of my colleagues submitted her I-140 application in January 2006 and got approval in less than 3 weeks under the EB-2 category at VSC.

Hello All,

I applied under EB3, concurrent 140 and 485 from VSC.
Receipt Date: May 20, 2005

Got EAD and Parole in 2 months time.

Not heard anything about 140. There is no LUD.

I see that there are cases that have applied after my date and have got 140.
I informed my lawyer and says to wait patiently.

I would greatly appreciate your advise.
