Total time from N-400 filing to US passport?

Hi, my wife and I have been in the USA for over 10 years and she has decided to apply for citizenship. We take an annual trip to Europe in June and we are wondering if she can get the process completed by then. Her green card expires in March, I'd prefer to save the $450 filing fee if possible. We live near Fort Lauderdale, FL.

She might but there's no guarantees in immigration matters. Usually it takes around 6 months.

Once she takes the oath, she can apply immediately for a passport?

Yes she can.

Also, if the process takes too long and her green card expires, she can get a temporary I-551 stamp in her passport with the N-400 notice of action.

I applied on 05/15/2015 and took my oath on 09/29/2015
Not applied for passport yet.
