Hi all, here is my experience
7:15 am, we were there 6:55am, they called my name at 7:20am
Very nice man, said hi, welcome to USCIS, and he took us to a room, the first thing he said, about the conditional and unconditional GC and the piece of doc that we should be aware of then he added, well if the application will be approved.(I was thinking wow that is it??)
Asked for IDs, then asked for evidence of marriage, we kept giving him one by one and he said give me as much as you have. (we gave, house deed, joint account, insurance, and firstly we forgot about marriage certificate, duh….then we gave it to him).
Then he said any pictures, and he was saying I want to file them too(I mean he doesn’t want to see them only), so he asked for 2 pictures but with the whole family (he meant, not only me and wife)
Then we just gave him one… we weren’t ready to give up pictures, because the originals are not with us… so he didn’t say anything … he just took the one picture and filed it.
He took a good picture.. darn it
, now I have to get it back from my in-law’s.
Then he asked about my TN. Just a general question like “where did I ….”.
He knew that we owned a house (he said he read our application), so he asked about it and we told him we just bought it. I think the house purchase was slam dunk evidence.
Then we went through silent moments, and he kept flipping docs around and stamping them and I just wanted to say something (I hated that silence), then I saw my medical exam envelop and I said, hey here is my medical checkup, and he flipped some docs and he said yeah here... that was sooo dump
, then I knew it was coming.. then he took my passport and stamped it, signed the conditional paper, stapled it, and he said we are done.
I asked if he wants my EAD card, he just said .. nope.
And we exchange goodbyes and we were done, escorted us to the door and let us go. That is it. It took 20 mins.
