Hi,

As per online message mine and wifes 485 was approved on Feb24th.
I am not able check the status of my kids 485 status , The online message syas "The status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system.". is this normal..

This site helped me a lot to know what is happening for the 485 processing.

Lots of Congratulations on your approval.
I think its normal and your kids case is also approved, you can call National Customer Service and probably they will be able to tell you.
Forget about the check, treat that as a donation to INS/BCIS/USCIS and enjoy your approval.

Goodluck with your approval. Did you get 2nd FP and when was your first FP? Was there any RFE. My RD is same as yours.

some more details

Hi, Here are some details deails about my 485.


RD: 15-Feb-2002
ND: 12-MAR-2002
Got RFE for First AP (don't details now).
Applied for 3rd EAD on 17-FEB-2004

Got RFE in Aug 2003 for employment letter , pay stubs, data oe birth certificates and tax papers. This just 10 days before the 15 months expire of 1st FP.

Replied to the RFE on 30-Sep-2003

Got 2nd FP on Nov last week with Jan21, 2004 as schedule date.

Finished the 2nd FP on 2 nd week of Dec. (early FP).

The online message did not get updated about the 2nd FP. I have called the FBI to check FP status they said they have sent the FPs to CSC as I have given my current address while doing the FP(FP notice is having my company address VSC). After that I have called the Service center, the lady askmed to wait till my date is current (processing date) and then they can request for enquiry.


I hope this helps the other people.

How many paystubs did they ask for?
Did u also do a change of address - AR11?
Didn't the message change that FP2 was sent to u atleast?

They have asked for 2 pay stubs,
Yes, I did apply for change of Address AR11,
No , the online message did not change after 2nd FP notice was sent to me.
