Hi Tomochka,
i was browsing today in forum and noticed that you are not a principal applicant.
I think your situation is similar to mine.
My husband is schedulled for interview on 09/09 but i am aprincipal appl. And my FP will be done only 09/09.
My question how is this going to work? please share with me your expirience if you can. I have an appointment with laywer 09/05 but maybe you can give me some information before i meet him.
thank you, irina

It looks as they approving my and my husband cases absolutely separately. My is approved as per on-line message (no letter received from INS by me yet), his answer for RFE was received by INS the same day as my case was approved... Imazing... Some lawers told me it will be 2 separate cases, some told (including INS general phone service) it will be connection and dependency...
Probably your husband have to fight for his case only (maybe he better bring even some recomendations from organizations/people, saying how good is him and his merriage... Crazy... Maybe some "good people" claimed on your family).
Whatever, you will maybe just receive decision from INS for your own case, if your case is similar to mine.
Crazy, Irina... Can you understand how tired I am from all this years? Will it finish somewhen? Hard to beleive...
Asc what you want to know, but all this cases can be different, it always depend with INS...
I pray for you.

Thank you for your replay. Will see what they will tell my husband on interview. I don't understand why do they ask for weding pictures. We've been married for more than twenty years and we have three children . I was granted asylum and they all my dependents this is why i surprised they called him not me.
Anyway not much i can do about it. The hardest part is explaine to children what is going on because they where little when we came( 12 years ago) and they consider themself americans.
they don't understand why i am so nervius and frastraited.
hopfully it will be over soon!!:D

I wish they (your kids) will never have to know to understand what we all went throw...
Everything has to be OK. If INS want to have some fun in their boring job and see your wedding pictures,... let them enjoy.
I have got my letter about approved status. They say me to come to local INS on the concrete day of the week, bring I-94, passport, 2 pictures, make fingerprint (again? I did it last September).
My husband still waiting for respond from INS.
Good luck in everything, Irina. We will have to meet somewhen. Aren't you plan to go to NY? I was in CA last summer.

I am fine, thank you.Today i had my fp done , this frday will have an appointment with my lawyer . I hope this all is over soon.
