There are many members in this forum who got approved or got RFE but then they do not post what they got or they do it 2 or 3 months later. Please inform us about any new information as soon as you can so that you can help your fellow asylees. It may help if you have a timeline too.
that is Date entered USA/ Asylum approved/ Application date/ Fingerprint/ passport stamping/ final approval/plastic card/

So the story in details:

Granted asylum: 08/26/97
Filed I-485 : 09/15/98
Receipt Date : 10/03/98

Fingerprints : 04/01/03
RFE received : 06/07/03
RFE mailed : 07/29/03
RFE received : 07/31/03
APPROVED : 08/14/03
 
Here is my story again,
hope it can help somebody:

Asylum approved - Dec 1997 (I am derivative Asylee, sharing same interview with main applcnt)
Applcation for I-485 sent in Decemb 1998
Received by INS –Jan 7 1999,
Notification date- Jan 8 1999
Fingrprnts – Sept 2002
Request for Addtn Evidnts (Biography Form, Medical Exam, (which I did not provide before) and Evidance of living in USA for at least 1 year) sent - June 17 2003

Request for Addtn Evidnts received by INS - Aug 5 2003

Approved - Aug 15 2003, waiting for letter sent.

P.S. Main applicant is not approved yet (he sent his I-485 applictn about half month later after me), but expecting to be soon. His RFE (Birth/Merriage Certificates, Medical Exam) received by INS).

Granted asylum: 12/97
Filed I-485 : 03/99
Receipt Date : 03/99

Fingerprints : 04/03
RFE issued : 07/10/03
RFE not received so called Toll free # : 07/24/03
RFE received : 08/05/03

RFE is for : I-602 because illegal entry in USA, Biographic Form, Birth Certificate
Consulted Lawyer: 08/06/03

At the moment lawyer is prepareing the response..... will update the progress here ......

Granted asylum: 08/97
Filed I-485 : 12/28/98
Receipt Date : 12/31/98
Fingerprints : 09/02
APPROVED : 06/02/03

For my wife it's a little bit different

Granted asylum: 08/97
Filed I-485 : 12/28/98
Receipt Date : 12/31/98
Fingerprints : 09/02
RFE notice : 07/11/03 (request copy of birth certificate)
RFE mailed : 08/02/03
RFE received : 08/11/03

Hope to post my wife's approval notice soon.
