To PERM or not to PERM, that is the question

I am awaiting my LC from Dallas. I am hoping, based upon peoples experience, to have it certified shortly.

Is it worth starting a PERM application? What are the risks? Should I just rely on an expedited I140 to speed up my existing process?

I am coming to the end of my 5th year H1B if that has any bearing on your answers.

Thanks.

You can continue to stay with your H1 after 6th year based on your pending LC in Dallas.

Expedited I 140 is not going to help you immediately other than extending your H1 instead of one year to 3 years beyond 6 yrs. You PD is very long way to go. If it is EB3, you will learn lot more by that time.
