To gujju161 - SSN and interim EAD - Help Needed

gujju161 and others,

I got my wife's interim EAD today and was wanting to apply for her SSN . I was told in the local office that their system takes about 2 weeks to be updates with the approval status .

Where did you file your wife's SSN from - State, City .

if you get IEAD, card thats all you need to provide for SSN.

Go to any Social Security Administration office and show her SSN and give details. She will be getting her card in mail or they will ask you to collect.
