can you please tell me in what consisted the medical appointment.
do they ask you if you are diabetic or to tell if you have any disease. my husband is diabetic and has now an eye infection and we are worried to tell the doctor. the appointment is next week.
can diabetes be a reason of rejection.
note that my husband is on opt in the US and has health insurance with his job. cp interview in paris next week. thanks

Hi FIFIPARIS!
I went to see the doctor last week for my medical exams and he only asked the following questions:
- Have you ever had any serious disease?
- Have you ever been hospitalised?
- Are you under any special treatment?

After he asked this questions, he examined my skin, my eyes and my pressure.
Finally, he made a prescription for some shots and blood test for HIV and Sifilis.
It was very simple.
In my opinion, since your husband has medical insurence, you shouldn´t worry.
My advice is, do not tell more than the doctor asks you. If he only asks you for blood test for HIV and sifilis, there is no way he is going to find out more about your husband´s health.
