Murphy says:

Everything takes longer than you think.

If anything can go wrong, it will

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something

If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong

If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which something can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop

Everything goes wrong all at once.

Now after quoting all that let me remind you of your lousy reality:

1) H1B visas for 2006 will probably end in 4 weeks

2) PERM process will probably create a backlog with I-140's; therefore cut off dates for I-485 will develop.

3) Backlog reduction centers will deliver a hudge backlog to USCIS the next fiscal year. It is certain the amount of eligible applicants (GC) would exceed the number of available visas. Therefore it is almost not possible to get a GC within few years if the applicant applies around or by the end of 2005.

If you waited for your LC for few years - now you might end up waiting same time to be able to apply on I-485!

Sorry folks! It's time to go home!

what other choice we have now?

We all know these facts. But what other choice we could have now? So don't depress people here, give them some hope.

Hi guys,

I watch this PERM process everyday.

My sympathy is on your side!!!

I just wanted to make a point here:
DO NOT DREAM ABOUT UNREAL THINGS!
DO NOT COUNT ON THE SYSTEM!

It will fail you!

It is my impression after going deep into this process!
I think it will destabilise the work at the USCIS.

I do not want to be too pessimistic here, but I have a feeling this PERM process may be extended to times you can't accept.

All these officers and staff are slow, because they do not produce!
They are ineffective!
For them - all that work is a waste of their time!

In any kind of business - more work means more success!
Here - it means opposite! More work means more trouble!

So please - always be on the secure side! Have backup plans!
That's what I ment by my 1st post!

Do not dream! They do not want to give you anything!
It is designed to be timeconsuming and frustrating for you!

Fight it smart!

Yahoo !!!!!! Let's go..
This wait is just killing. I will prefer to go back if they say it's over and you can't get this GC. But at the same time they are not saying and just making us to wait and wait and wait and wait... :D
And during this wait we are just getting frustrated.

Friends our trun will come but when ?..

No Pain No Gain

Hello fellow frustrated future "americans"

I think this forum is a basis for sharing useful infomation about the techincal details of the GC/H1 etc process. We all are here to share and gather info .I (and i think many would agree with me )would not like to make it a "dear auntie " column...,

We all know the hiccups in the the system and the wait time.I would really appreciate if you would detail the technical shortfalls and not the emotional ones.

Hope you understand...

We can always go back to our home country but that is not the goal...,

Thanks for your understanding,
fellow sufferer in frustation,
phps01.
