To all EB1 applicants who have filed 485

All those EB1 who filed 485 concurrently/separately, how long did it take you to receive your EAD and AP? I was in the 485 forum yesterday and read all kinds of horror stories about delayed EAD cards and AP. I know this is not the right thread to address this issue but this thread has all the EB1 applicants and people with case stories similar to mine. Any feedback will be appreciated.

Its more than 5 months, I still have not received my EAD or AP. I called NSC and they said to wait for another 45 days.

I got EAD in 3 weeks

I am happy for you, but I am sick and tired of NSC taking 5 years for a EAD and TSC 3 weeks...is insane..the system is so bad!

but good for you, that's is super fast

p.d the 5 years comment is a joke.. :P

It all depends where your application lands up. TSC is so much more efficient than NSC presently. Does e-filing really route it to TSC as someone in this forum was suggesting? I need to travel on business soon and cannot wait that long for my AP.

with i-140 when you file online it goes to TSC, but with EAD i have no idea, if you fille online please let us know..

I will definitely keep everyone updated. After talking to my attorney, I have decided to first go on my business trip and then come back and apply for my 485 by mid to end Feb. This will give me more leeway and I wont be anxiously counting months for my AP....

Hi tipoto
Thanks. After your 140 approval plan ahead and finish your travel and then go ahead and apply for 485, EAD, AP like chatterjee.
