TN1 - L2 - L2EAD

Hi ,

I am in some tricky situation , currently on TN1 and legally working in USA . My husband company is filing L1 for him and for me L2 and L2-EAD .
in that case while process of TN to L2 to L2-EAD ,

Q1 : should i eligible to work continuously without break during the process?

Another thing my company also going to file L1 in near future because they xfer me from Canada to US office , so in that TN1 -> L1

Q2: instead of going TN1 - L2 - L2 EAD approach better to remain individually on TN1 and later L1 ?

pls help me to understand these US twisted rules

Unfortunately, applying for L2 requires a CHANGE of status (I-539) rather than an I-129 (which you could delay activation), so you must change from TN to L2 to then get EAD, so you cannot work continuously.
I would simply wait to get your own L1, and not apply for L2 unless you lose your job.
