TN VisaHolder applying for GC

Hi there,
I am canadian citizen but Indian by birth, i will be getting married to someone who is on H1B visa (from India) and i will work with TN visa since i qualify for that but how long is the processing time if i apply or if my spouse applies, since i had heard that its lesser of a wait time for Canadian citizens
also if it takes longer than 1 year would it be possible for me to renew my TN without any problem,

if you apply for a TN at the border it will take a matter of minutes. If you apply for a TN via a mail-in application (which can be done only if you are already in the US in a valid visa status) it will take 1-3 months.

From the standpoint of GC processing, you will be considered Indian, not Canadian, since that is your coutnry of birth.

In terms of renewal by mail, on one can tell you exactly how long it takes now. All I know is before Apr. 1, it was very fast. Now with the arrival of truckload of H-1b applications, who know?
