I am a Canadian citizen.I recently visited US last Sep 2014 and stayed for 6 months until March 2 and then returned to my home country to take care of my parents.I applying for jobs in US and Canada from my home country and recently Company asked me to come for a onsite interview .My question is since I already visited US and stayed for 6 months what is the best answer I need to tell at the port of entry if grilled/asked what is my purpose of my visit I am planning to show them the invitation which says about my interview.Will I be given B1 visa since earlier I was given B2 visa what is the best answer I should say. if I get a job offer and I get my TN (btw if I get a job offer this will be my first TN)its excellent but in worst case scenario if I don't can I return to US immediately since I do not have a place in Canada.Do you guys think that I should rent a place in Canada and then start looking for jobs.Please help me cannot afford to loose this chance.
