I am a Canadian citizen, I am currently visiting my brother in New York....I have a job offer of a restaurant manager, I see there is category for hotel manager in NAFTA have degree in hotel management from canada and experience, can I still come to Toronto and apply at POE, also my job is for a restaurant which is standalone, it's not part of any hotel, pls advice thanks
 
First you need to work with your future employer to determine if that role qualifies for TN status.
Restaurant Manager and Hotel Manager are two different roles.
 
Thankyou for the reply, my role is of a restaurant manager...for restaurant and the nafta category shows hotel manager.....so I am not sure if I qualify in the role...as the the company offering me job has chain of restaurants around USA but it's not a hotel....thanks
 
If Restaurant Manager is not included in NAFTA TN categories than that role does not qualify for TN.

If you think you qualify for Hotel Manager role, you need to look for jobs as a Hotel Manager.

TN has very strict list of categories. It is to facilitate the "free" movement of labour between US / Canada / Mexico as part of NAFTA agreement over 25 years ago.
