TN visa for insurance job

Hi I am trying to find out if I can get a TN visa or status. I currently work for Allstate Canada selling insurance. I am close to securing a position with Allstate in Fort Lauderdale though it is not through corporate Allstate. Will this position enable me to get a TN visa? or do I need to seek out an alternative visa? They want me to start pretty soon so the TN sounds like the only way to get a fast visa or status. I am not currently license to sell insurance in Florida though I could get this done prior to applying if it would make the difference. Any advice welcome.

If It helps I have a 2 year Business diploma and about 8 years relavant experience.

Insurance salesman is not a TN qualified position, nor H1 qualified position either. Your only hope is to get hired on by Allstate itself, and then get an L1 visa, as a transferee. You may want to investigate if the firm that is proposing to hire you has a close enough relationship with Allstate to qualify you as a transfer.

Otherwise there is no way that this job qualifies for any type of work visa.

I was reading the L visa, what is the time line on getting this visa and are the limited in how many are issued? I am with Allstate and this is an Allstate office so I`m thinking it may be possible.

There are no limits, and the status can be obtained at the border instantly. Yopu might want to shift your quastions over to teh L visa forum, keeping in mind that as a Cdn, you are not required to file for L1 with USCIS (you merely need to complete the paperwork for the border) and do not need a consular visa.
Both your old and new comapny have to be involved in this process.
