I am a Canadian citizen and applied for a TN Visa at a land border and was denied about a month and a half ago. My company's legal team is working on a new TN application via the USCIS mail-in method.
I'm planning on visiting the US for a few weeks on vacation, and am worried the denial and my current re-application will impact my ability to enter the US as a visitor. My last trip to the US was 3 months long and I worry the lengthy stay will also be a factor. I'm going to be travelling through Toronto Pearson and I hear the US customs officers are pretty tough there.
I have a return flight booked, and evidence that I am currently working and residing in Canada.
I'm anticipating a higher level of scrutiny and a potential denial. I'd love some advice on what I should prepare/bring with me to help with my entry as a visitor.
