TN Visa as a recent grad

I have a major in Software Engineering and the degree is Bachelor of Computing from the University of Guelph. Are there any recent grads that have successfully applied and then later on moved to GC while on TN? I've been reading the forums and I keep seeing older people/parents with years of experience so I am worried that since I am still new (with coop experience), getting a TN visa -> GC via EB3 will be hard. I was born in Canada, BTW.

Thanks!

In general, an engineer is most valuable to employers after 3 to 5 or even 7 years of relevant experience.
Your education is still recent, you have gained valuable work experience, your salary is reasonable, you are highly motivated to move up in responsibilities, etc
To get a job offer with a full relocation package (full moving expenses, temporary accommodation, etc), and cover all immigration related expenses (to GC) is more likely when you have 3 to 5 to 7 years relevant experience. New graduates is possible, but maybe less likely.
I would research what skills in your area of expertise are in high demand and obtain a few years experience in that field in CAN before looking for TN job in US. Intern or Coop experience is good, but not long enough.

also note, as a new grad your employer really considers your college/university reputation.
for example, U of Toronto, U of Waterloo, UBC, McGill, all have good reputations with US employers. U of Guelph, I don't know.
But once you have 5 years or more relevant experience, your college/university is not that important anymore. As long as you have a degree. It is your recent experience that is most important to them.
