wondering if anyone ever had the same issue as i am having. I am in the US and working as a Mgmt Consultant with an BBA for company A

Company B is offering me another position as system analyst its actually 50% systems analyst and 50% Mgmt consulting

the offer letter states MGMT Consulting\system analyst.
My lawyer is telling me you need to skip the analyst part because no good will come out of this and just ask the company to place one title Mgmt consultant. On the flip side the company has informed me that they can issue me an h1 as well

Can anyone please let me know if the lawyer is correct?Any ideas?

You can't get a "dual-category" TN. Have the firm pick one. Since you qualifoed for MC in the past, and I have no idea if your qualify for CSA, I would go for MC.
H1 will alow you to do anything. However you will not get H1 for several months. . TN allows you to work as many jobs as you wish --each with theor own TN of course.

Nelson one last thing i will start the new job on May 30th. Can i go on May 15th with letter stating that job will start on May30th?

Or should i just put starting day as May30th and go a day or two before?

Thanks

I would go with a letter with NO starting date, simply stating the expiry date, or three year (or less) duration. Then you can go anytime you want.
