I currently live and work in the US because I already have a TN visa. I also own a business that is located in Canada. I only do work for my Canadian business while in Canada (I commute between the US and Canada frequently).
My business is a sole proprietorship that is registered only in Canada. Can a US company hire me under a TN visa (paid W2) to work through my business or are TN visa holders only for individual employees and not sole proprietorships? I don't have any ownership in the U.S sponsoring company, and my business is not registered in the US, my business is only registered in Canada.
