I am a Canadian citizen living and working in the US under TN status since 2017. My job ended in April and I left the country right after to visit a sick family member. I wish to re-enter the US in approximately two weeks but don't have anything lined up at the moment TN wise.
My husband is on a h1b and after doing some research I understood that I could request H4 at the border rather easily. My question is if doing so could potentially cause complication in me asking for a new TN down the line. In other words, could that be considered some form of immigrant intent?
