Hi,
The current USCIS "normal" processing times for TN status (I-129) /TD (I-539) by mail petitions are 2 and 2.5 months respectively as per the USCIS webiste.
My understanding is this timeframe is USCIS's goal and they are currently approving the petitions before the 2 month timeframe. Is this correct?
Could anyone please share recent experiences on how many months did USCIS approve their petitions (is it under 2 months or 1.5 months or taking more than what the USCIS website states)
Thanks,

Thanks Nelsona for your reply...
My current TN expires on 8/8/2013; My company filled for the extension via normal processing on May 31, 2013 (receipt notice date). Based on the the current USCIS processing timeframe, I should receive it anytime between now and July 31, 2013. I was speaking with a friend, and she believed that although the USCIS states 2 months or less on their website, the actual processing times have been about 3-4 months for TN I-129 petitions that have been around May 2013. So, I just wanted to be 100% sure that the processing timeframes on USCIS website were accurate.
Thanks

Again, so what? You have applied, and you get 240 days past expiry as a grace period. If you leave US after your current TN expires but before your renewal is approved, you simply apply at the border.

You really shouldn't care about processing times.

Be aware that april/may are typically devoted to H1-B petitions. so everything else falls behind. so say 4 months. Again, so waht?
