Can any body define in terms of NAFTA law that exactly " WAT IS IMMIGRANT INTENT "

do they consider buying home in US a part of that intent.

Buying a home is not.

Filing an I-485 is. Also marrying a US citizen living in US is. Saying that you are going to live in uS permanently is (whether you legally can or not).

Remember the Immigration Officer is attempting to determine your intent and how you say it (with confidence, the language you use, etc) is also very important.

For example, you can be very clear you've bought a house and you've purchased it such that its a great investment - you'll be able to rent it out when you decide to return to Canada.
