TN status about to expire...

Good day,

My TN status expires on Mar 12, 2016. My company has just mailed in form i-129 for extension.
Should I be worried about not getting the Receipt on time and me running out of status? Or is it ok for me stay in the U.S since I've mailed in my application before my expiry? Please advise.
I would appreciate your kind assistance!
 
I think it should be fine as long as they get your papers on or before Mar 12. Do you know how the papers were sent i.e. Express mail, overnight mail etc.? Even if they get your papers after 12th it's not a very big thing as long as your I94 hasn't expired and you have a good reason why your application was late.

My employer mentioned they had sent via Express Mail.
