TN renewal and drive license renewal

My TN will be expired on Aug 19, 2013, my current company wants me to go to border for renewal or renew by mail in regular process (instead of premium process). I do not have any plan to go out of states in next one year, so i want to renew it by mail. but my drive license will also be expired on Aug 19, 2013, how can i renew my drive license if i will not receive the approved new TN before Aug 19,2013? please advise.

It's simple, you need to go to the border, or pay the premium processing yourself, so that you get the I94 before Tn expires.
