Stressed! I got a great job offer in Chicago. But unfortunately my TN application was rejected because I applied under the management consultant category for the full time position with a non-consulting company. Tried the H-1 and was declined because the quota was reached.
The employer is willing to try anything. A couple of options I've thought about:
1. Join their Canadian branch and then apply for TN under management consultant category again - move to U.S. under TN but stay on Canadian Payroll. Apply GC after entering U.S..
2 Join their Canadian branch and ask them to apply GC for me - live in Canada and commute to U.S.. May run into trouble entering U.S. on a weekly basis before LC is granted. Not sure what happens even after LC is granted.
Is there any other option I can take advantage of? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
