MY TN was not approved today and was asked to go back on Monday when a NAFTA officer is available. i was not give any checklist or anything. however i do think that they scanned my documents
Officer mentioned that my Job Responisbilities on TN support Letter and the catagory (i applied under Accountant) does not match. the TN Support Letter mentioned the Duties of Auditor. Duties mentioned in OOH (Occupational Outlook Handbook) under accountant catagory are very few and there can be many more things a auditor does apart from what is mentioned. officer asked me my duties and i mentioned what was on the TN support letter, i also tried to explain that Auditing falls under accountant catagory, i also mentioned that the OOH has same duties mentioned.. however that doesnt match with the duties in the system or manual that they refer. does anyone know which manual they refer or it is OOH and since the officer was not a NAFTA officer she didnt have much experience.
My employer was prompt enough to rewrite the duties to match with the duties under OOH. should this be enough when i go back again?
officer also asked me if i have a CPA . i am not a CPA. but i do have bachelors in Accounting.
any suggestions that i should keep in mind when i go back. i am planning to go back to same POE
@nelsona your suggestions in past were very helpful. can you put some light on this.
