TN holder - I140 filer - cross border issue

Dear all,

I am a canadian and living in Canada. However I travel to US daily on TN to work. I am going to file I140. I have one question here and appreciate very much for any info shared:

1. Is it safe for me to travel as usual after I file I140 (no I485)?

Unlike H or L category visa TN is not considered as 'immigrant intent'. So this will impart increased risk. Please talk to your lawyer about the strategy of TN renewal (as filing I-140 demonstrate immigration intent).
