TN -> H1 [another part time]

I am working on TN and status will be changing from Oct 1.

My question is I know that I can not have TN and H1 together. and I need another H1 for my another part time job. How can I do that? does employer have to go through regular H1 process? i.e. quota apply next year in April etc?

Is there any shortcut way to have one full time job on H1(which I approved) and can work on another part time job?

Just as in TN, you need an H1 for each job. This requires a full-blown H1 petition (LCA and I-129 and fees). You are not subject to quota, and by AC21 you can start as soon as the petition is submitted (or, in your case, since you are not yet in H1 status, after October 1). So there is no 'timing' issue with second H1's so long as you have already been subject to quota.

Remember though that H1's must be employees, not contractors, which are allowed on TN.
