Currently working in the US on TN (Job Z), I traveled back to Canada for the week, with the intention of getting a TN for a new employer (Job A) upon re-entering the US.
During my week's stay in Canada, the recruiter from another firm I had interviewed with a couple months back came back to me with a stronger offer (Job B).
I'm now unsure what job I will take.
So is there a harm in getting the TN for Job A since I traveled here with documents to do so, and I may in fact wind up taking it? I don't mind paying the $56, and there is some chance I still take Job A.
But I am wondering if it will cause some suspicion should I come back in 2 weeks or so to get a TN for Job B (should I decide to take it). The letter clearly states these are full time positions, it's not practical for someone to hold both Job A and Job B, and the timing of my applications would be at most a month apart.
I think I have read you may hold multiple TNs, but maybe in practicality I will cause less problems if I hold off getting the TN until I am sure which job I will take? (even if this means getting a newly dated TN letter, and another trip to the border for Job A)?
