TN expired on May 10, can I reniew on May 10 in the airport?

I'm a Canadian on a TN. I got my visa on May 11th 2008 and it has an expiration date of May 10th 2009. My plan was to go to Toronto, on the 8th spend the weekend and return on the 10th. Does anyone know if this is okay? Can I have an expiration on the 10th and renew on the 10th? I tried reading travel.state.gov/visa/temp/types/types_1274.html but would just like to double check.

The date you renew (in actuality, you are getting a new TN) is of little consequence. It could have been today, next week, or the 10th or 11th. You will beout out of US, so there is no risk of being considered out of status.
