TN educational requirements and job titles

I recently completed my bachelors in Administrative Studies, with no specialization, however my profession is in Accounting. Aside from that, I am completing a Professional Certificate in Accounting from the same university.

My current position is Cost Accounting and Inventory control.

Will my educational qualifications be a problem because the Bachelors doesn't specify Accounting, but I have an additional Certificate ?
 
It will depend on the course load in your degree, but a CGA or CPA designation trumps your education.
 
Unfortunately I do not have that, and doing it will take a year or so after the certification. Who can I go to, to have this checked out and confirmed so that I can have a plan of action?
