I think this issue has been discussed before. My Dad, who is American citizen, submitted form I-130 for both me and my mother last year.
I just got a job in US that requires TN visa. I heard that TN visa is not dual intent. I-130 might show that I have intent to immigrate so I run the risk not not getting the TN.
However, My dad basically did I-130 himself and I didn't sign anything. I can't force him to revoke it if he doesn't do it. so is there still a good chance that I will get refused? Is there anything else I can do to show that my stay is temporary?
Also, if I ask for a 3 year TN Visa, will there be greater chance to get refused compared to a one year TN Visa?
