TN and Green card processing

So my TN expires in five weeks. i will be going to renew my TN end of April. On the other hand my wife is on a H1 and per her lawyer they will be applying for her labour cert on the 20th of march. I am wondering if i went to get a new TN can this create a problem for me? In other word would the POE know that she's applying for a green card? Everytime i go to get my TN they get my wife info's updated.

whoops sorry Tn expires and most probably getting another offer in a month or so if the new company gives me the green signal.

wifes labour cert (now called PERM) is not a bar to you renewing your TN. Once you have your TN, your wife should be good to proceed with her GC application. Just be sure to tell her lawyers that you are on TN, because once you both file I-485, you cannot leave US until you ger AP and EAD. Your wife, because she has H1, is under no such restriction.
 
Hmm so even if they applied for her PERM i can go to renew my TN afterwards, just that once the i485 is applied then i can't leave the country not until i get my AP and EAD..
