Hi, I\'m new to this site. I have read multiple message on this forum about responses from IIO. Are there any tips or tricks useful to get thru to an IIO. I have been trying for the last so many months the number is always busy during daytime and the AVM does not recognize my EAC. Same is true about my attempts to get my Fingerprinting status from FBI. I have been told FBI are prompt in replying. Every time I\'ve called it goes to the answering machine, and nobody has called me back. I hope i\'m not alone and that there is a way out of this.

Mr. Pret...there are no tricks!!

The only tip is patience. Maybe a phone with tone dialing vs pulse dialing helps. I never used to get thru using one phone, I tried another where the disconn/redial happened faster and bingo! Try for about 20-30 minutes, then hold for maybe same time! But sometimes it varies a lot, meaning sooner.

You will benefit from clarifying several issues with an IIO. My file "moved", and how, my case got approved in 2 weeks!!

No Title

Virovhan, what do you mean by "You will benefit from clarifying several issues with an IIO"?

Try calling in at 7:30 am. You should be able to get the line in 5-6 tries then keep using their AVM

Finally got thru

Thanks for the tips folks. I finally got lucky and spoke with an IIO. She said she\'ll \'send a note\' to have the AVM recognize my EAC#. Their systems were down so could not get confirmation about INS receiving my fingerprinting from FBI. So there is call in my history and still don\'t have the information I wanted.

They can tell you if something is wrong...

My address was incorrect, whereas my wife\'s was correct!
