Timeline to appy for EAD

Hi! My H1B expires on Feb 28, 2005. I have already gone through the labour certification process, and my I-485 has already been filed.

My question is considering my via expires on Feb 28, 2005, how soon can I apply for my EAD? Do I have to wait 3 months before expiry of the H1-B, or can I apply earlier than that?

I think you can apply any time after (or along with) your 485 application. The EAD is issued based on pending 485 application.

---------------you can apply EAD AP any time now, you should have applied EAD and AP when I-485 was filed

*** if I-140 not approved better file H1 extension and remain on H1 status, having H1 status is good back up , keep EAD ,AP for emergency use

Not at all useful .... they have a TOTAL of 240 or so 485 applications listed ...

The trackers here would have more :)
