I have applied for canadian PR in October, 2004 and got the File number in March 2005.
I was looking at Timelines at http://www.yogi799.com and observed a stange time pattern.
Till the month of July 2004, who ever applied for Canadian PR got their AOR(I assume it is same as File number) in the next month itself. I mean people who applied in July 2004 got their AOR in August 2004.
But things have changed from August 2004. People who have applied in August 2004 got their AOR in November 2004 and who have applied in November/December 2004 got their AOR in February/March 2005. This delay continued till January 2005.
But from February 2005, people started getting AOR in the next month itself (Who applied in February 2005 got AOR in March 2005).
Is there any policy change which caused extra time in getting AOR between August 2004 - January 2005?
