tigerm80,

Congratulations! You will be getting your I-485 approval/interview pretty soon. If you don't get it within 90 days, make an apointment with Infopass again. Currently USCIS is processing applications with RD of 21 Dec 2006, since your PD is quite old, It is very likely that you may not have to wait six months.

thanks for your words

Paradis2000 and WaitingforGcard:
Thanks for your encouraging words. I'll post any progress of my case on the forum.

I received email notices on my EAD card ordered and approved, but no any online update on my wife's EAD. I filed the cases all together. Any advices on why this happened? Is it possible they just update status for primary applicant and omitted online update for derivate applications? Last week, I sent several faxes to NSC for expedition of the case, also asking infopass to forward email to expedite the process. Seems it doesnot work.

With similar NIw priority date, mine is also clear (namecheck). but when i called TSC IO said, visa number is not available wait till oct.

green20055,

October is only 4 days away, so it should not be too long before you get your I-485 approval considering that your namecheck etc is clear. I was wondering what is your I-485/I-40 RD?

Tigerm80,

I have seen two couples (my uncle and aunut) and my freind and his wife, in the same situation you are in. In first case my uncle got his approval and after 2 months my got approval. In second case, my friends wife got her approval first and the within a month my friend got his approval. For you I would advise it is just a matter of time before your wife gets her approval.

Hi waitingforgcard:
my I485/I140 RD or PD is 09/30/2005. ND is Oct,18 2007.
bye the bye is that true oct. likely approval time. Because EB2 processing date April 2004. do you think date will jump by more than one year during starting month.

green20055,

You say that I485/I140 RD OR PD is 09/30/2005. How can it be the same? RD must be different than PD.

Also, I don't understand that why you say that EB2 Processing date is April 2004, when TSC is processing employment based I-485s that were filed on Dec 19th, 2006 ????????

Thanks,
waitingforgcard

Grenn20055,

Can you please quote the source of the infomration that states that USCIS is processing cases that have been pending since April 2004 due to the visa unavailability?

I was not aware of this information, so I just want to make sure this information is authentic enough.

Thanks,
waitingforgcard.

Okay that is kool.

Most probably, you should be getting your I-485 approval within 30 business days. Reason why I am saying 30 days is because your receipt date is quite old. (Curretly they are processing cases wit RD of Dec 2006). If you don't get ur approval within 30 days, that means USCIS has skipped your file. In that situation you may want to contact USCIS asking for explanation as to why it is taking so long specially when every thing else seems to be clear.

Enjoy

Thank you for your info. I'd rather get the approval for my wife than for myself. My wife is needing it for start of work. (I'm still using the valid H1 visa).

Hi waitforgcard;
first of all i should thank you for your kind words.
i called TSC IO last week twice, he and she said its under review but visa number is not available, wait till October. I do not about october whether visa will be available or not.

Green20055,

Their response was right. USCIS has exhausted all visas for fiscal year 2007. Starting from october 2007 when new fiscal year starts, visa numbers will open up and in my opinion, you will be on the top of the list as your RD and PD are quite old. So be patient and call them in first or second week of october and keep us posted on your lateste status.

Thanks
waitingforgcard
