Timeline for Passport Request

Hi

I have received a letter from the Canadian Consulate to submit the passport and I would like to know how long will it normally take for them to send the passport back with the stamping?

I have not asked to appear for the personal interview, but only to submit the passport, does it mean that my interview is waived or is there any chance that they might call for the interview later?

Please advice.

A quick search that I did some time back seems to indicate that you get the passport back in 2+ weeks. I have sent passports too, about 2 weeks back and am waiting to get them back.

(From what I understand), yes your interview has been waived. Request for passport means that your processing is complete and PR is approved.

Just a quick update, got my passports back :)

Passports reached them on the 7th March, stamped on 18th. Including postage (USPS Express mail both ways), got passports back in 19 days...
